Free Satellite TV Online for PC
Posted on July 23rd, 2010 No commentsRobert Kamau asked:
Did you know that you can now watch Online TV on your PC for free? There are PC TV softwares that enable you to access live feeds from major networks like FOX, NBC, CBS, ABC, CNN and many other free world stations. Last year, was my second in a row to use this service with maximum convenience. I want to share with you this chance so that you may also be able to enjoy reliable and cheaper cost with the same online service.
Personally I have used one of this software to watch sports channels. I’m usually away from home for work and had always missed out most of my local American sports, news, movie channels. This was until I discovered this online service. Even when I was back home, I still couldn’t win the usually hotly contested, remote- control-wars with my family.
I had to look for some other way of watching my favorite channels away and at home. Luckily I had heard about these online PC softwares that you can install in your computer and enjoy all the free to air TV shows. I downloaded one of the services online that seemed legitimate into my laptop.
Whenever there is an important game, old classic movie, or news. I pick up my laptop and go into the bedroom. I then connect the laptop to the internet and continue to watch TV with good quality picture and sound just like the normal digital shows of satTV.
The most enjoyable part is that am able to watch all the Television online while relaxing in bed either at home or in a hotel room in far away places. Talk of peace, quiet and privacy.
There are tens of thousands Satellite TV services on the internet that have even up to 3000 channels. Take care however, most of these PC softwares are fake and not worth the money you pay for. Some just don’t even have an after-sales service and the quality of their picture and sound is a disaster.
I want to tell you that there are some few good PC Online softwares marketed by equally good companies. These companies offer the best and reliable online service with softwares that work.
I have been using online PC software from satellite TV for PC Company. The software they retail is the PC 2007 Elite Edition, which also has other higher editions like Platinum. They have so far offered me great service and the software they market does work with very good quality pictures. This is rare in the world of internet television since getting the digital stream consistent is tricky and most other companies just get it all wrong.
Being a sports Television fanatic, I’m now able to capture many sports channels like ESPN USA, Eurosports, NFL, NBA, NHL, Baseball and many others. When I don’t have any interesting sport to watch, I can always turn on to some hunting shows, car racing, extreme sports that rival the kamikaze pilots acts, shopping, news, movies, classic films and music.
And yes! The PC software also comes with many online radio stations that play music of all genres including Rock, Hip-hop, Jam, R & B, Rap, Gospel, Country and much much more.
I remember when I bought the software, I tried to browse through the over 3000 channels in over 70 languages. It was impossible to go through all of them. Quite a vast majority are English stations. There are enough foreign language channels including French, Russian, German, Spanish, Arabic, Hindi, Portuguese, Finnish, among many.
Although initially I had problems browsing through the many channels, the guys at satellite TV for PC were ready to help me. Since then, I have watched uninterrupted online Television on my laptop without a hitch. And am yet to browse through all the channels from countries like China, USA, Canada, France, Germany, Spain, Russia, Japan, Belgium, Finland, Saudi Arabia, UAE, Africa, Italy, Brazil and others.
I think it was a bargain to have all that choice of online programming for less than $50. This is the only start up cost they charged me which I aptly paid with my credit card and downloaded the software in a record 2 minutes flat. They have not come back for any more fees from me for the last two years.

Software Registry Cleaning to Fix PC Errors
Posted on July 21st, 2010 No commentsAde Adewolu asked:
Software Registry Cleaning is a process of cleaning any infections created by temporary files, infectious viruses, and other malicious network activities. It is part of the occupational hazards of using a Personal Computer (PC) – or laptop – that such errors occur. In today’s world, where some people live on creating malicious programs only to turn around and start peddling the solution to them, PC Errors have become a most unfortunate reality. Many PC Errors prove they are capable of holding the PC and any on-going work to ransom. The errors range from Windows Installer Errors to DLL Errors, and Run-time Errors – among other possible problems.
Your personal computer (PC) that was otherwise functional could become prone to attack or errors out of common usage or carrying out normal activities. The situation becomes more frustrating as you may not necessarily notice the registry errors until it has had considerable damage to your system. When you take adequate precaution by using appropriate software registry cleaning that scans, repairs and speeds up your PC, you can relax and trust on the efficiency and reliability of your system.
The cyberspace is full of programs which behave maliciously towards your system. While you may think you have taken every precaution, the PC environment and work-based hazard potentials are such that it is necessary to ensure that adequate provision is made rather than try to avoid it. There are available measures that can be put in place to counter and eliminate any possible attack on the system.
While it is difficult to determine what attack the PC is prone to the next time, it is possible to install effective software registry cleaner on your system. This is to ensure that any possible attack is countered effectively whenever they come. Effective management of the PC is based on the awareness and provision of countermeasures to any attack to which the PC is prone. It is not enough to just rely on a fixed anti-virus to do just that, but to determine from time to time what other measures are in place to ensure effective Software Registry cleaning.
Conclusion: In order to have a crisis-free work environment, especially if your operations depend on the PC, registry cleaning must be regarded as a vital part of routine maintenance of the PC. Every wise entrepreneur whose business depends or uses the PC would be wise to pay adequate attention to doing it right. Get the right product and save yourself sleepless nights and possible embarrassments that PC or software registry failure could cause you and your business.

Computer Keep Freezing?
Posted on July 20th, 2010 No commentsMichael Baker asked:
Your computer is a finely tuned piece of equipment. When all things are right, or correct, it runs like a well oiled machine: no problems, lightening fast, and gets the job done. But when something goes wrong, it runs like a rusty old clunker. In other words, all kinds of things can go wrong. And it is these things going wrong which makes your computer keep freezing.
There are 3 things, which can make your computer freeze: viruses, spyware, and registry problems. We have all heard of viruses. Chances are you already have good anti-virus software on your computer. So this should not be a problem.
The second item is spyware, or adware. These items have been in the news so much in the last 2 years you should have heard of this. If you have not, then you should be worried. As you surf the internet, little cookies are being dropped onto your computer to identify you. Most of these are harmless. They are the things which tell a website what you have in your shopping cart. But every now and then, you end up with some that are spying and tracking your movements and sending this information to other websites. You need to get rid of these.
The last item is your registry, and most likely the cause of your problem. Registry files tell the computer what to do. If these files are messed up or missing, the computer does not know what to do. This is what makes your computer keep freezing. You can download an error cleaner and fix software and get rid of all of these issues. I always start with my registry when I have problems. And I always run the registry cleaner once a week, just to ensure my computer runs fine. For just 5 minutes worth of time, you can keep your computer from freezing.

3 Factors Affecting Computer Performance
Posted on July 19th, 2010 No commentsLogan Albright asked:
Many people ask themselves “why is my computer so slow?” There are many who own computers but are not that computer savvy. So, it is only natural that they are not aware of some of the common problems that can slow down the performance of the computers. With a few simple tips, you will be well on your way to having your computer function at top performance in no time at all. The three top factors that can slow a computer down are Spyware, a cluttered registry and unwanted desktop items.
Spyware is one of the leading causes of a slow computer. These spyware programs are known as malicious programs that attach themselves to the back of your computer, so that its maker can monitor your internet activity. It would definitely help if you could invest in a good anti-spyware program to prevent this from happening. This usually comes with an anti-virus program which scans your system to remove the spyware and all other viruses. Once you have had the software installed, it is advisable for you to scan your computer at least once a week to remove and prevent these unwanted “pests” from affecting your computer and its performance.
Having a cluttered system registry can really slow one’s computer down as it is packed with unnecessary registry files. Registry files are very important to a computer as they contain preferences and settings for your computer. However, unwanted files get added into the system’s registry each time you add a new software or hardware into your computer. Unfortunately, they will clutter your system’s registry even after you remove or delete the software or hardware. This is because they usually remain in your registry long after you remove and delete the programs, and you might not even be aware of its existence. Nonetheless, you can fix this problem by using a registry cleaner software. A registry cleaner scans your computer and removes these unnecessary registry files. When a scan is done, it will generate a list of unneeded registry files for you to delete. This will help your computer run smoother and faster when you run applications and other programs the next time. A registry cleaner can thus help optimize your computer and improve its overall performance.
The last cause of a slow running computer can be found on your desktop. Many find that they love the convenience of having shortcuts on their desktops as well as high-resolution wallpaper and animated cursors. Unfortunately, all of these things can slow down your computer as it uses up valuable system resources. It is better to shut these items off and not use them when you are working on the computer. This will free up some memory space in your computer, letting it run more smoothly and efficiently
If you want your computer to work at its best, it is important that you take the necessary steps to reduce the occurrence of these problems. By cluttering up your registry, leaving spyware embedded in your computer and cluttering up your desktop, you can greatly affect the overall performance of your computer. So avoid them and carefully tend to these three factors to help your computer run like new again.

How Do I Make My Computer Run Faster? – Tips & Tricks
Posted on July 12th, 2010 No commentsLogan Albright asked:
That is the quintessential question of the 21st century, Computers run slow after a while, and that is something you simply cannot avoid. Computers are fast and furious at the point of purchase, but months and months of program installs and exposures to the dangers of the internet will cause those little bytes of the dangerous and the misleading to enter into the cubby holes of your well oiled machine and clog it up. You’re not the only one plagued with this problem. Thousands and thousands of computer users have experienced the same frustration with their computers as they either crash, take an eon to load a program, or shows an error message that makes as much sense as a Sanskrit manuscript. If you’ve ever asked yourself ‘how do I make my computer run faster’, then look no further, for this article will show you the tips and tricks that you need to do just that.
First of all, it’s entirely possible that your computer has enough digital dust bunnies to slow it down worse than a geriatric grandma, so what you need to do is to clean it out. Cluttered software, digital entries that exist in a state of disparity and a hard disk that is fragmented beyond recognition; these are just some of the things that you need to take note of. You need to defragment the space in your working disks and doing that is easy, free and takes only a few hours. The defragment disk utility is in your computer and has the ability to clear out the gutters of your computer so that data will run smoothly through its pipelines. Unfortunately most people do not use this, or even realise that it is there in the first place. Click on it, sit back and wait a few hours and you will see a noticeable difference in the performance of your computer.
One other way of course is to delete and remove programs that you are not using, especially those that Windows tends to load at start up and exist in the program taskbar, eating away at your memory when you don’t even need it. Vet through your program list and see what you need and what you don’t need; sometimes we forget about past programs that we install, programs which get left behind to our most heinous error. Get rid of them because they are just taking up space in the hard disk.
Getting your computer to run faster can also involve repairing the registry, the one place within the databank labyrinths of your computer that determines how your system runs, how the programs you install execute and the general mechanics of your computer. Most of the problems of a slow PC might actually lie in the registry – we might not know it – but this is a fact of computing life. A good registry cleaner will be just the thing you need to make your computer run faster and better. While I won’t get into the exact science that makes your registry tick, you must understand that Windows constantly refers to it as a set of instructions to command the programs in the computer. A good registry cleaner will ensure that all of your system functions run smoothly and properly.

A History of the Tablet PC
Posted on July 12th, 2010 No commentsAmy Everet asked:
Own a cheap tablet PC and you will be the talk of the techno town today. You will be surprised to find and interested to know that the super successful tablet PCs of today have come a long way before they actually became this popular. As with many great ideas and inventions, years of experimenting, investments, brainstorming, adjustments and technological tweaks have led up to the tablet being the power tool that it is today. One of the major reasons that it took time for the tablets to establish themselves as viable is that in earlier years, there was simply not enough technological knowledge and insufficient tools to develop the genius idea.
The cheap tablet PC was initially envisioned in the early 1980′s to be based on handwriting recognition technology which was developed and introduced by Nobel Prize winner Dr. Charles Elbaum. The notion of replacing keyboard and mouse manipulated personal computers with a pen operated computer system was first introduced in the late 1980′s and at that time it created quite a storm in the techno world.
By the year 1991, numerous computer companies and especially Microsoft saw the early stylus as a challenge to the mouse and its potential replacement for good in the future. With this promising idea, Microsoft launched their Pen Extension for Windows 3.1 by the name of Windows for Pen Computing. Many companies proposed and presented their modifications of PenPoint after the first bold step had been taken by Microsoft and between 1992 and 1994, various popular companies introduced hardware for the software launched by Microsoft. After this initial boom, the hype surrounding the pen computing system and handwriting recognition technology died because the new idea did not sell and companies suffered losses. By 1995 most people thought that this was the end of the electronic pen and it was seen as a threat to the conventional mouse and keyboard no more.
Bill Gates was one who had always firmly believed in the pen computing system and had not given up hope on it as the future of computers. Pen operative computing systems made a major comeback in the year 2002 with the launch of the Tablet PC in the form of slates and convertibles from Microsoft. One of the major reasons why it was successful this time around was that the handwriting recognition technology which has previously been pointed at as the reason pen computing failed due its inefficiency, was replaced in the Tablet PC by a new data type called digital ink.
The prediction made by Microsoft about ten years ago rang true in 2002 when tablet PCs became popular again.
