The survey also found that more than half of owners of the recently released Kindle Fire will buy an iPad 3.

“When it comes to tablets, Apple’s iPad will continue to remain the leader,” said Yung Trang, President and Editor in Chief of TechBargains.com. “But what’s identical interesting is that Kindle Fire was released just three months ago and yet more than half of Fire owners already know that they will, in fact, buy the iPad 3. This could be a commentary on consumer dissatisfaction with Amazon’s product or simply a message that the iPad’s user experience remains unparalleled.”

    Kindle Fire vs. iPad 3
With the recent release of Amazon’s Kindle Fire, a surprising 53% will buy the iPad 3 (6% will wait in line on the release date, 17% will buy online on the release date, and 30% will wait and buy the iPad, but with no set time frame). Additionally, the survey found that respondents ages 31-50 are most likely to purchase an iPad 3.

    Consumers’ iPad 3 Wish List
The survey included questions regarding what features consumers predict will be included in the iPad 3 and additions they wish Apple would make. The majority of people (67%) believe the iPad 3 will have an upgraded camera to record video in 10-80p and 8MP for high resolution photos. 92% of respondents predict the iPad 3 display will have an increased pixel resolution than the 1024 by 768 of the iPad 2, but people were split on what the new resolution will be. The display size and price of the iPad 3 will remain the same as its predecessor according to the majority of shoppers. Consumers also shared a wish list of features they would like to see included in the iPad 3. The results include the percent of people who want the following features:

Quad Core Processor: 85%     Better Speaker: 82%     USB Port: 82%     Memory Card Slot: 81%     Less Reflective Screen: 72%     Siri: 65%     Support for Thunderbolt (42%) and Multiple User (51%) accounts ranked low on wish list

“It’s clear from the wish list results that consumers don’t want the iPad 3 to be a slight improvement ended the iPad 2; they’re looking for a significant leap in tablet functionality and specs from Apple’s newest device. That means addressing some elements that left users underwhelmed, similar wanting a faster processor or a less reflective screen,” said Techbargains.com Editor Jeff Haynes. “The storage features from the wish list probably won’t be included, but those stats speak to the consumer’s desire for Apple to increase its storage options gone from iCloud, especially if it wants memory intensive apps or initiatives, care the new textbooks through iBooks, to really take off.”

  • Comedy Guys Defensive Driving Sees Growth in its Corporate Driving Safety Classes

Posted on February 5th, 2012 No comments

Comedy Guys Defensive Driving Sees Growth in its Corporate Driving Safety Classes

Dallas – Ft Worth, Texas (PRWEB) February 01, 2012

As businesses experience increased pressure to cut costs and maximize profits, more companies in a variety of industries are taking advantage of Comedy Guys Defensive Driving’s corporate classes to cut costs arising from their transportation and distribution networks.

Comedy Guys co-owner Mark Cooper said, “Whether it’s a small company or large organization that saw a need, if they have drivers on the road, we can save them money.”

    THREE WAYS TO SAVE
Better trained drivers will have a better safety entering, saving the company financial losses arising from collisions, including damages, repairs, workers’ compensation, and clocked disoriented due to injury.

More immediately, putting a company’s drivers though a telling-certified driving safety course reduces the insurance premiums, both for the company and the individual drivers.

Moreover, by requiring that all company drivers take such a course, a business gains added lawsuit protection against allegations of negligence should a collision involving a company vehicle occur. It becomes much more difficult to claim a company has been negligent once this additional driving safety class becomes a standard part of required training for all company new-hires.

    WHY CHOOSE COMEDY GUYS
Cooper claims that more companies are choosing his Dallas-based defensive driving school because of the experience of the personnel. “We were some of the first people to mix driving safety with comedy, and because we’ve retained our best instructors over the years, we have a core group of corporate trainers who, combined, have more than 100 years experience at making drivers safer.”

The flexibility of the Comedy Guys’ corporate program is also a valuable attribute. The school is often able to design a course to meets a company’s specific needs, including driving conditions and even particular vehicles in use.

Also a Comedy Guys corporate driving safety class can be adapted to a wide range of company sizes. One small Dallas-based ambulance service has for years required all of its new-hires to attend one of Comedy Guys regularly scheduled local defensive driving classes. Larger companies set up special on-site classes for groups ranging from ten to one hundred drivers. In December, for example, Comedy Guys sent defensive driving instructors to thirteen locations across Texas to train more than 500 drivers for a multinational energy transportation company.

Many corporations prefer a classroom environment, but when that isn’t convenient or cost-effective for a particular company, Comedy Guys can create a corporate account for its online defensive driving course so that the company’s drivers can meet their training requirements via the Internet. In November 2011, for example, ComedyGuys.com did exactly this for almost forty drivers for a Texas-based oil transport company with employees in two states.

Online convenience is enhanced by Comedy Guys having formatted its online driving safety course to work via iPhone, iPads, and Android phones and tablets.

    A GROWING SERVICE
Comedy Guys fully anticipating the size and total of its corporate driving safety classes to proceeded to grow through 2012.

In fact, added Cooper, “Just this week I was approached in one of our regular classes by a company representative who wants to use Comedy Guys to save his company money and improve its safety record. As long as we can salve accompanying this kind of money, they’ll keep coming to us.”

    ABOUT COMEDY GUYS
Comedy Guys Defensive Driving is one of the largest driving safety schools in Texas, currently offering live defensive driving classes taught by professional comedians in 17 Texas cities. ComedyGuys.com also offers an entertaining online defensive driving course available anytime and programmed with work-when-you-want flexibility.
