i already have the tx2524ca and all that has the tx2 in plus is the multi touch and i will not spend this money just for one finger in plus to use… inutility release…

Actually, extreme capitalism is what brought us the crisis. A little going back to more moderation is what we would need. In fact, extreme capitalism also endorses monopolies, because extreme capitalism dislikes any form of government control/regulation. To fight against monopolization, regulation is the only method, because the free market, due to entropy, will always move towards monopolies which in the end hurts the customers.

But we’re on the topic of Wacom, let’s not get into politics.

As I write this, someone just posted Toshiba M400 at a low price of $450, intel dual core 2.2 Ghz, 60 GB 5400rpm HD, 2 GB RAM upgradeable to 4GB with manufaturer’s warranty still for 8 months. I know u mentioned issue of screen not sturdy as HP. I guess these specs would leave < 4 me 2 bring out more $ from my wallet.Hope I’m jumping on safe waters. Final thoughts?

Hi, paid $500 for this tablet(ebay) with warranty til 9/09.Took advantage of post TG sale at newegg and got the ram to 4gb(crucial-$51)for a possible update to Vista, & d HD to 7200rpm 3.0 seek/sec 250 GB(seagate-$79). I think my only complaint is that I got so used to x41 (which sucks big time due to the max 1.5gb of ram and 1.8″ HD) as to the weight. It’s quite heavy on my back (4.6 lbs vs 3.7 on X41).Does it really become hot to touch? Where do u find cheap batteries/charger for this?TNX

New ones are coming out all the time – but check Computerworld and TabletPCReview who have done some in depth looks very recently…
