I want to buy an iPad 2, but I’m wondering about buying the wireless network adapter. My house has good wi-fi, and I don’t know if the adapter is needed to connect the iPad to the wi-fi.

The iPads have built-in wi-fi. If you already have wi-fi in your house you are good to go.
