• Could a tablet PC use DLP technology to project images?

Could a projector be built into a tablet PC that used something like Texas Instruments’ DLP technology to project images onto a surface? Would it make the form factor too large? It seems like a decent trade off for being able to turn any surface into your workspace. Thoughts? Answers?

DLP means digital light projection, and in most cases is quite large, i can’t see it being small enough yet but they already have pocket projectors that use what i believe to be LED technology, which is much smaller and better then DLP. I expect DLP to be obsolete pretty soon.

      Could it? Maybe.

How large is the market? Unknown without research – but a tablet or laptop is typically a small form factor because mobility is a requirement and adding weight is typically not acceptable.

Maybe Apple has something in mind:=&ei=UTF-8

But I agree that using a pocket projector is probably a better idea
