@tiffmchase Yes definately, using the inbuilt “Tablet Input Panel.”

This video was focused on the touch features of Windows 7, but the active digitizer pen based features are even more compelling.

Using an Active Digitzer, Windows 7 automatically learns your handwriting by the corrections you make. It can also be trained, but out of the box it works very well.

It is by far the fastest and most effective method of input while in Tablet mode (i.e. without a physical keyboard).

Can the writing you write on the tablets be changed to text?

    • Jamie

@redrose588 That’s the video, not the tablet.

    • Joann

Is the screen flickering, or does it only look that way?

@oztabletpc Sorry to SFeis here, I accidentally deleted your comment. Point was that a tablet PC won’t replace a high end desktop or laptop, but it will run photoshop just fine for sketching on the go.

@belal1988 “u only could use it for browsing and writing word documents !! ”

Think your on the wrong track here. This video was produced on that tablet. AVCHD files, 1080p, 10 gb Files!! Yon can’t do that on an underpowered machine. I am an extreme power and this replaced my desktop pc long ago.

    • Viola

@belal1988 This has a core i7 processor. It’s anything but laggy. Photoshop is a no-brainer on any current tablet PC.

    • Julia

@oztabletpc well because its a tablet i think u only could use it for browsing and writing word documents !! @ i would be happy if it could run photoshop without being laggy

@mihai96z3d Oh, and when you realise how much you can save, let alone earn by having a tablet pc, you won’t think of it as expensive at all.

In fact the way I see it, not having a tablet pc for the last eight years would have cost me big time!

    • Marcia

@mihai96z3d True, you have to spend money to get the best, but as stated below, there are hundreds of windows 7 tablets with these touch features. Check out the Fujitsu TH700 which uses the same Wacom Digitizer and touch screen.

    • Lydia

its very expensive dont you know a cheap one? i dont want to spend so much money and i dont have so much money

    • Sue

      @Iskander299 Yes

    • Louis

can u move ur mouse with this and use a seperate keyboard?

    • Brent

@greentheam629 Yes, Wacom Cintiq and Interactive Pen Display are two good examples.

    • Bryan

can i get a separate tablet screen for pc..?

    • Theodore

Great video. There are a lot of clowns out there who calls themselves professional product reviewers (worst of them made it to cnet) that shouldn’t be getting their paychecks.

It is refreshing to see a real reviewer amidst so much waste.

      Thanks.

    • Gary

@belal1988 Depends on what you want to do with it…

    • Sylvia

whats the best pc tablet available right now?

    • Erin

Your videos are always very helpful and professional. Great job!

    • Carlos

@aoshima6566 Also, understand that this particular Tablet PC is not the only Windows Touch Tablet, there are over a hundred tablets currently on the market that I know of.

This particular tablet is designed for rugged, outdoor environments like mining and construction and it’s actually one of the cheapest rugged Tablet PCs on the market.

    • Marion

@aoshima6566 Classic way to miss the point. Many, many customers want and need this… It saves them thousands of dollars a month, let alone a year. If you can’t look past the price tag, then you’ll never get to the real benefits – sorry to put it bluntly.

“I can’t afford it” is a different story and that is fair enough. But the fact is that we as a tiny company from Australia sell hundreds of these Tablet PCs every year to people who can afford it… and they get the benefits.

    • Joann

Would be cool to own but for $2,200+ I doubt that very few people will need one or want one for that matter.
